Great vet! I bring my cat there and they always sit down and explain what is going on with my elderly cat. They also show you the bill before they do any procedures in case there is something you don't want to pay for. I really appreciate staff who listen to all your concerns and questions about your animals. Really like this place.

Great place to bring animals for check up.

If at any time money and budgeting becomes an issue, they will print out an itemized list of costs of what they recommend for care - whether it be a vaccination, x-ray, blood test, urine test, whatever - and will go over the list with you to help prioritize what is most necessary and what can wait.

I had another cat with kidney failure and they helped me diagnose and get her on a renal care diet for her kidneys which extended her quality of life for an extra 8 months before the kidneys shut down. When her quality of life wasn't good, they saw me the same day I called. They counseled me before we chose to euthanize her, even doing a final wellness exam by my request to assure me that we were making the right choice by her. They let me have as much time as I needed with her in the exam room both before and after they euthanized her and did everything at my pace. They handled getting her cremated for me, provided us with a memorial with her paw prints, and sent a sympathy card to our family for our loss.

Such a great organization. They’re always ready to handle any situation like the time my dog ate ibuprofen. He’s alive and well thanks to their diligence.

There had been several times when he's had an asthma attack and I'll call and they'll see him immediately, getting him on oxygen and medicine right away, keeping him in an oxygen tank (all day if they have to) until he's stable - calling with updates so I know what's going on.

Good people and they care about your pet

My asthmatic cat is alive because of the staff at Airport Animal Hospital. His primary vet is Dr. Wickenheiser and she has been absolutely amazing. She's dedicated herself to his health and helped us develop a care plan with steroids and an inhaler, and he hasn't had an asthma attack in over a year now.

I will not take my pets anyplace else. Airport Animal Hospital has exceeded our expectations and I trust them with my pets more than any other vet I've ever gone to.
