Probably the most ridiculous/run around service I've had trying to order a mattress and sheets from a company. The salesman that I dealt with was amazing and he ordered everything right. Was told that the sheets were on back order and I was fine with it when I ordered. 3 weeks go by and I finally receive the items that I ordered. Go to set it all up and I was sent the wrong sheets. Ordered California king and I received California split king. Called asking what was going on and after going up and back the lady I was talking to said that we can order another but it would be another 3 weeks. I was told to just sleep on the top sheet and wait. I said that it's crazy to wait that long. She gave me a number for pure care which is the company that they get the sheets from. They said slumberlands computer are messed up and they have them in stock. Told me they would get my sales receipt and send them out and send me the tracking number. So I wait a week and a half and nothing. I call back and keep asking for the store manager at slumberland and apparently he/she is on vacation. Called pure care back asking about it and they said they haven't received any sales receipt and I told them they were gonna call and get it faxed. He said that he would call back by the end of the day and of course I get no call back. So i called slumberland back the day after. So the lady that is helping me decided to call pure care herself and said she would give me a call back. Well no call was every received from her but she had the company call back. They told me it was on a little back order even though they said they had them. Said they would send them out to me. It's been 5 days now and no package and no information on what's happening. So almost 2 months now of waking up trying to fix the top sheet I'm sleeping on and trying to fall back asleep. About 15 phone calls with no one that can give me an actual answer on what is going on. Terrible customer service. At this point I don't think I should have to pay for the sheets and I'm about to call up slumberland and tell them to just come pick everything up and return it. At this point the only reason they have 1 star is to make this review and because the salesman I dealt with was awesome.
Great service, I'm getting a brand new mattress after 9 1/2 years since I purchased the last one. The Simmons warranty is amazing and I can't wait to have it delivered. I will update this review when it arrives!
I rarely write reviews for a positive experience, but I was very impressed with the staff at Slumberland in Duluth. The staff was attentive, quick, & very helpful. I ended up ordering 12 pieces of furniture before leaving most of which is scheduled to be delivered & put together for me on Saturday. They were honest about time frame for me to expect 1 of the items and set expectations right away & when their was an issue with one other item they called right away and set up another time for that item to be delivered. I could not be more pleased with the honest & attentive staff. I have a few other items I'm looking to pick up in the coming months and will definitely be shopping Slumberland of Duluth!
My wife and I went to Slumberland last night to look at mattresses. We were there for a half an hour trying out beds and not a single person came to speak with us. Terrible service!! we went to HOM furniture, they have great customer service.
