Problem: Driver side power window broke (glass and motor). Pros: 1. They gave me options to buy used or new parts. Broke down the cost into labor and parts, researched and priced everything over the phone. 2. When they found out that I only owned one vehicle the owner offered to loan me a car while he fixed my window (only asked that I fill the tank back up when I returned it). 3. Cost of fixing the window was less than he estimated and gave me $100.00 back. 4. Owner was very personable, listened to what I had to say, had a firm hand shake. Cons: 1. Hard to believe these people were sincere, no one can be this nice. Other thoughts: This was my first time using Humes (which is one of the reasons I was so shocked at how nice they were). I did not tell them that I was going to post a review about my experience. This review was done 3 months after I got my window fixed and it still works great.
Last year my girlfriend called me crying (literally) about how the owner had treated her inappropriately. This year, when I took off the wheel to look at the brake job Humes had done, it was completely trashed. I suspect that low grade parts were used.
